Content Project Manager (Cod COR 242101)

We are looking for a talented Content Project Manager Content to join our global humanitarian assistance team. If you have excellent writing skills, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for refugee and humanitarian aid work, we encourage you to apply. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in creating informative, accurate and reliable content.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Fluency in an official language spoken in the Middle East (Turkish, Arabic, Farsi, etc.).

  • Strong storytelling skills and content creation experience.

  • Passion for social impact.

  • Creative thinking.

  • Experience editing and proofreading for grammar, spelling, punctuation and coherence.

  • Experience working for a humanitarian, charitable or non-profit organization is an advantage.

  • Experience using analytics tools to measure content performance and make data-driven improvements.

  • Experience using data collection tools specific to the humanitarian sector (e.g Kobo).

Experience and Education:

  • BA in Social Sciences, Political Science.

  • At least 2 articles published in the last 2 years in humanitarian and/or academic publications.

  • Ability to make editorial choices quickly in urgent circumstances.


About the job:

  • Establishing the content production plan and calendar for Code for Romania's humanitarian assistance platforms.

  • Creation and coordination of content production on Code for Romania's humanitarian assistance digital platforms (e.g. identification of the type of information needed, collection of information, adaptation of information in an accessible language).

  • Keeping in touch with project partners to operationalize the flow of information and access to services for the final beneficiaries.

  • Liaising with the assigned project team meaning working together with the UX designers, other members of the humanitarian assistance team, the technical development team.

  • Identifying translation needs in foreign languages and designating those responsible for these tasks.

  • Producing summary type materials for purposes of public communication of the published content.

Information:

Time: Full-time.
Duration: Initially one-year to start, renewable towards potential permanence after first year.
Contract type: Employee.
City: Bucharest.
Reporting to: Director of Humanitarian Infrastructure.
Start date: As soon as possible.
